The charts below display simulated press force values and associated stress
values for traditional sleeve / bushing or ball joint press-fits.
Using input manuf. tolerance for the various dimensions, the simulation generates
normally distributed random data for each value and plots load calc result in a
histogram format, showing the number of instances each value occurs
Using sample sizes larger than 1 million may seem to lock up browser during calc
Stress values are color coded according to each material's linear limits
When stress values exceed safe margins, testing data may not correlate to simulated expectation
